1. Introduction


BLUKASTOR LLC (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates, Blukastor mobile application and Blukastor Provider mobile application (hereinafter referred to as “Blukastor Platform”).

Our Privacy Policy governs your visit to and Blukastor mobile applications, and explains how we collect, safeguard and disclose information that results from your use of our Blukastor Platform.

We use your data to provide and improve our services. By using Blukastor Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

Our Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all use of our Blukastor Platform and together with the Privacy Policy constitutes your agreement with us (“agreement”).

2. Definitions

BLUKASTOR PLATFORM means the website (Site) and Blukastor mobile applications (whether on iOS or Android), and related services operated by BLUKASTOR LLC, including without limitation information provided by Blukastor to potential and actual Users in relation to the services.

PERSONAL DATA means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data (or from those and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).

USAGE DATA is data collected automatically either generated by the use of Blukastor Platform or from Blukastor Platform infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

COOKIES are small files stored on your device (computer or mobile device).

DATA CONTROLLER means a natural or legal person who (either alone or jointly or in common with other persons) determines the purposes for which and the manner in which any personal data are, or are to be, processed. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, we are a Data Controller of your data.

DATA PROCESSORS (OR BLUKASTOR PLATFORM PROVIDERS) means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Data Controller. We may use the Blukastor Platforms of various Blukastor Platform Providers in order to process your data more effectively.

DATA SUBJECT is any living individual who is the subject of Personal Data.

THE USER is the individual using our Blukastor Platform. The User corresponds to the Data Subject, who is the subject of Personal Data. Some of The Users are the Client who is the user requesting a service and the Blukastors (or Providers) who are the providers of the service requested through our Blukastor Platform.

3. Information Collection and Use

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Blukastor Platform to you. By Using the Blukastor mobile applications or website, you are authorizing us to collect, parse, and retain data related to the provision of the Blukastor Platform. You may avoid further said data collection by uninstalling the mobile application from your mobile device and not otherwise using our Blukastor Platform.

4. Types of Data Collected

Usage Data
We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site or when you access Blukastor Platform by or through a mobile device (“Usage Data”).

This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Blukastor Platform that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. Also, we may collect app crashes and other system activity including the third-party site/service accessed immediately prior to interacting with the Blukastor Platform.

When you access Blukastor Platform with a mobile device, this Usage Data may include information such as the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system/versions, the type of mobile Internet browser you use and network information, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. Location Data
We may use and store information about your location if you give us permission to do so (“Location Data”). We use this data to provide features of our Blukastor Platform, such us to match Clients to Blukastors, to update Clients on the status of Blukastors in route to perform services, to confirm that a Blukastor performed a service, and to improve and customize our Blukastor Platform.

We also may use and disclose geo-location we collect through our Blukastor Platform for other business purposes, including for legal purposes (such as to enforce our agreements) and in the event of a proposed or actual merger, sale, or other business asset transfers. The geo-location information obtained about a User will be retained in an identifiable manner, along with geo-location data about job sites where Providers performed services on initial and/or follow-up jobs.

You can enable or disable location Data when you use our Blukastor Platform at any time by way of your device settings.

Operation Information
We collect Operation details related to your use of our Blukastor Platform, such as type of service requested, date and time of service, amount charged, distance traveled, intra-User communications, ratings and reviews, and other related operation details.

Tracking Cookies Data
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Blukastor Platform and we hold certain information.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. Other tracking technologies are also used such as beacons, tags and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our Blukastor Platform.

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Blukastor Platform.

Examples of Cookies we use:

  1. Session Cookies: We use Session Cookies to operate our Blukastor Platform.
  2. Preference Cookies: We use Preference Cookies to remember your preferences and various settings.

  4. Advertising Cookies: Advertising Cookies are used to serve you with advertisements that may be relevant to you and your interests.


Provider Registration: To register as a Provider (Blukastor), you may need to provide other Personal Information, including your social security number, bank account and a U.S. government-issued I.D., and we may collect additional business or contractor licenses. We may use report information we receive from background check service providers for the purposes of assessing whether to permit an individual to use the Blukastor Platform as a Provider and to comply with applicable law.

Background Check: We may share your information with our partners who help us by running background checks on Providers to help protect the Blukastor community. We may use Background check report we receive from our service providers to evaluate whether to permit an individual to use the Blukastor Platform as a Provider and to comply with applicable law.

Financial Information: In order to be able to pay to our Providers, we keep information about Provider’s bank routing numbers, tax information, and any other payment information provided by Providers. To keep your data secure, we do not store your full bank account information or social security number on our servers.. In order to collect payment made by the Client, when a Client add a credit card or payment method to your Blukastor Platform Profile, a third party that handles payments for us will receive your card information and we do not store or see your full credit card information to keep your financial data secure.

Customer Support: We may collect Personal Information through your communications with our customer-support team via phone, email, chat on line or any other communication line accepted by Blukastor Platform. Blukastor may use your cell phone number to call or send recurring text messages to you, using an autodialer or prerecorded voice (See use of data section). If you would like more information about our policy, or to opt out, please visit You may be liable for standard SMS and per-minute charges by your mobile carrier. Blukastor may also message you via “Push” messaging, which you can opt-out of on your mobile device. Data rates may apply.

Usage and Preference Information: We collect information that is generated automatically about how you and visitors interact with the Blukastor Platform, preferences and settings chosen. When we associate such information with specific personal information, we will treat the combination as Personal Information, as set forth herein.

Communications Between Users: We care about your data, that is why we created an integrated Chat in our Blukastor Platform, so a client can communicate to a provider or to Blukastor admin staff to get help, without using your personal phone. We do not share telephone numbers submitted on file, although we store any communication thorough our online chat. Information transmitted through boards, chats, polls or through any other means remains in our databases and becomes the property of Blukastor upon submission. When interacting with other Users, you should exercise caution and common sense to protect your personal safety, data, and property, just as you would when interacting with other persons whom you don’t know. Blukastor will not be liable for any false or misleading statements made by Users of the Blukastor Platform.

Additional Data requested: While using our Blukastor Platform, we may also collect the following information: sex, age, date of birth, place of birth, passport details, citizenship, registration at place of residence and actual address, telephone number (work, mobile), details of documents on education, qualification, professional training, employment agreements, non-disclosure agreements, information on bonuses and compensation, information on marital status, family members, social security (or other taxpayer identification) number, office location and other data.

5. Use of Data

BLUKASTOR LLC uses the collected data (including Identity information and Financial information) for various purposes:

  1. To operate and make available the Blukastor Platform. We use your data to connect you with other Users in order to enable the posting of, completion of, and payment for services;
  2. to provide and maintain our Blukastor Platform, including to evaluate and improve the online and mobile user experience.
  3. to improve and enhance the safety and security of our services, develop new features and products, and facilitate insurance and finance solutions in connection with our services.
  4. to contact you in connection with your activities though our Blukastor Platform (including, but not limited to, confirmation emails, account verification text messages, push notification alerts, or important alerts that could affect your relationship with us),
  5. to notify you about changes to our Blukastor Platform;
  6. to allow you to participate in interactive features of our Blukastor Platform when you choose to do so, including identification and authentication;
  7. to perform background checks and interviews.
  8. to provide customer support, including communicate requests and acceptances of services, and/or suggests potential providers or clients for services.
  9. to investigate potential unauthorized use of your information by a Provider,
  10. to gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Blukastor Platform;
  11. to monitor the usage of our Blukastor Platform;
  12. to detect, prevent and address technical issues, for security and billing. Including internal market research, troubleshooting problems, and detecting and protecting against error, fraud or other criminal activity.
  13. to fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it;
  14. to carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection;
  15. to provide you with notices about your account and/or subscription, including expiration and renewal notices, email-instructions, etc.;
  16. to provide you with news, special offers and general information about other goods, Blukastor Platforms and events which we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about unless you have opted not to receive such information;
  17. to advertise, promote and market Blukastor services and products.
  18. in any other way we may describe when you provide the information;
  19. for any other purpose with your consent.


6. Retention of Data

We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

We will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Blukastor Platform, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

To preserve the integrity of our databases, standard procedure calls for us to retain information submitted by members for an indefinite length of time. You agree that we may store the information we collect for this indefinite length of time

7. Transfer of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to – and maintained on – computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

BLUKASTOR Platform is directed to users in the United States, and the information that we collect through or in connection with Blukastor Platform is transferred to and processed in the United States for the purposes described above. Blukastor also may subcontract the processing of your data to, or otherwise share your data with, affiliates or third parties in the United States or countries other than your country of residence. The data-protection laws in these countries may be different from, and less stringent than, those in your country of residence. By using the Services or by providing any Personal or Other Information to us, you expressly consent to such transfer and processing.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

We share your Personal Information and Other Information with other parties for a variety of purposes, as described below.

Affiliates. We may share Personal and Other Information with our corporate affiliates for the purposes described in this Policy.

Third-party service providers. Blukastor uses third-party service providers that perform services on our behalf, including web-hosting companies, email vendors, and analytics providers. These service providers may collect and/or use your Personal or Other Information to assist us in achieving the purposes discussed above. We may also share your Personal or Other Information with other third parties when necessary to fulfill your requests for services; to meet the terms of any agreement that you have with us or our partners; or to manage our business.

Other users of the Data. Blukastor shares your information with Clients and Providers where appropriate. For example, when a Client requests a service, a Client may view the Blukastor’s Profile including any Personal Information the Blukastor Provider has provided including name, photograph, geo-location, and rating. Clients may also search Blukastor Provider’s profiles that are set to visible within the Blukastor Platform. Also,when you submit a Service request as a Customer, we will display certain information about you to Providers, including your name, address, photograph (if any) and rating.

Your direct sharing of personal information through the Site or third-party websites and services. Blukastor Platform may enable you to share Personal Information with other users. For example, a Provider may send you personal information through in-app chat, however we provide with in-app chat with all features needed for a good communication, there is not need to share phone numbers or other personal information. Blukastor is not responsible for personal information you voluntary share though our Blukastor Platform or during a service. In addition, Blukastor Platform may permit comments to be submitted on articles or blog posts or contain links to third-party websites that incorporate comment and social media features, including the Facebook “like” button and the Twitter “follow” button or other similar social media integrations. If you choose to use these features, you may disclose your Personal Information not just to the third-party websites and services, but also to their users and the public more generally. Because the third-party websites and services are not operated by BLUKASTOR, we are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites or services. The collection, use, and disclosure of your Personal and Other Information on third-party websites and services will be subject to the privacy policies of the third party websites or services, and not this Policy. You agree that we are not responsible or liable for any of their actions or omissions.

Third-party plugins. The Services integrate certain third-party plug-ins (such as a Facebook “like” button). Even if you do not click on these plug-ins, they may collect information about you, such as your IP address and the pages that you view. They also may set and/or access a cookie. These plugins are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing them.

8. Disclosure of Data

We may disclose personal information that we collect, or you provide:

  1. Disclosure for Law Enforcement.Under certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
  2. Business Transaction.If we or our subsidiaries are involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred.
  3. Other cases. We may disclose your information also:
    1. to our subsidiaries and affiliates;
    2. to contractors, Blukastor Platform providers, and other third parties we use to support our business;
    3. to fulfill the purpose for which you provide it;
    4. for the purpose of including your company’s logo on our website;
    5. for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information;
    6. with your consent in any other cases; as necessary for our legitimate interests in proper communication and engagement with our Users and in promoting our business;

9. Security of Data

Your BLUKASTOR (Client or provider) account is password-protected so that only you and authorized BLUKASTOR staff have access to your account information. In order to maintain this protection, do not give your password to anyone. Also, if you share a computer, you should sign out of your Blukastor account and close the browser window before someone else logs on. This will help protect your information entered on public terminals from disclosure to third parties. BLUKASTOR has security measures in place intended to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control.

International. Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computer networks which may be located outside of the state, province, or other governmental jurisdiction in which you reside; and the privacy laws governing the country/jurisdiction of these computer networks may be less protective.

BLUKASTOR has staff dedicated to maintaining this Privacy Policy and other privacy initiatives, periodically reviewing security, and making sure that every BLUKASTOR employee is aware of our security practices. BLUKASTOR takes steps to ensure that your information is secure on its system. The security of your data is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. As a result, BLUKASTOR cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. We expressly disclaim any liability for any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all Personal Information and/or Financial Information stored therein, and you agree to hold Blukastor LLC harmless for any damages that may result therefrom. 11. Your Data Protection Rights for California residents

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online Blukastor Platforms to post a privacy policy. 12. How to update personal information:

The users are able to change their personal information by contacting us at to change information they cannot access through their account, such as age. To access and edit Personal Information: Sign into the app, access the edit profile, and then view and update/correct your account information. So that we can protect the integrity of sensitive data, there are certain pieces of information. Our databases automatically update any Personal Information you edit in your profile.

13. Children’s Privacy and Note to Parents and Guardians

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. The BLUKASTOR Platform is not directed to children under the age of 18 (“Children”) and children under 13 are not permitted to use the BLUKASTOR Platform. If we become aware that we have unknowingly collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete or disable such information. 14. Blukastor Platform Providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Blukastor Platform (“Blukastor Platform Providers”), provide Blukastor Platform on our behalf, perform Blukastor Platform-related Blukastor Platforms or assist us in analyzing how our Blukastor Platform is used and about the devices used to access the Blukastor Platform.

These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Our partners also may collect information about your online activities over time and on other websites or apps. When our third-party partners provide such features, they are governed by the privacy policies of their governing organizations. You may be able to change browser or app settings to block and delete these technologies when you access the Blukastor Platform, but that might interfere with the Blukastor Platform’s proper functioning.

We use Checkr for purposes of performing background checks on Providers that register to perform Services for Customers on the Blukastor Platform. During the registration process, the information you provide to Checkr is transmitted using SSL encryption, which is a primary tool in protecting sensitive operations with web servers during data transport of information that allows for a secure connection between the two parties. Business Affiliates:
Blukastor reserves the right to transfer, sell and/or distribute all information collected through the Blukastor Platform to an affiliate, subsidiary, or third party in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or part of our business, assets or stock. We will require the new entity to follow this Privacy Policy with respect to your personal information, as and to the extent required by applicable law.

15. Analytics

We may use third-party Blukastor Platform Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Blukastor Platform.

Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a web analytics Blukastor Platform offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Blukastor Platform. This data is shared with other Google Blukastor Platforms. Google may use the collected data to contextualise and personalise the ads of its own advertising network.

Your Profile Pictures and Other Job-related Pictures: “Photos” is defined as any photograph(s), image(s), or graphic(s) that we obtain from Users through the Blukastor Platform, including those uploaded by you or other Users, such as profile pictures and service-related job photos (See also additional related policies set forth in “Personal data” and “Photographs” in our Terms of Use).

Unless we expressly obtain your individual permission, Blukastor will only use your Photos specifically for Blukastor platform related purposes, such as showing your pictures as well as marketing, advertising, and other related purposes. Blukastor enables Users to share job-related pictures, including before, during and after jobs pictures, to third-party websites and apps.

Users who have shared content though Blukastor Platform or have provided Blukastor with any videotape, film, record, photograph, voice, or all related instrumental, musical, or other sound effects, hereby consent to our use of these materials as User Generated Content in accordance with Section 9 of the Terms of Service.
